Who We Are
The San Joaquin Bike Coalition is a comprehensive nonprofit community organization that advocates bicycle safety and bicycle related events. The SJBC is involved with local government for the implementation and service of bicycle lanes, resources for motorists and cyclists, and a hub for the advancement of bicycles in the community.
Our Vision
A vibrant cycling culture within the communities of San Joaquin County, where cycling is a safe and preferred method of transportation and recreation.
Our Mission
To promote bicycle safety and improve the means to use alternative transportation in San Joaquin County. The SJBC will perform three fundamental functions:

Advocate for bicyclists' and pedestrians' interests in county and city governmental policies

Provide resources and education to pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists to promote safety and awareness

Work with citizens throughout the county to promote bicycle and pedestrestrian-friendly communities
